5 Outdoor Adventures to Add to Your Bucket List
Where would you like to travel in this lifetime?
As an adventurer, you’ve almost certainly got a mental list of places you’d like to visit. While everyone’s bucket list is different, there’s still one thing we all have in common: we know new adventures and experiences are important.
If you haven’t already done so, grab a pen and paper (or your cellphone and a notes app!). When you’re ready, take a few minutes, and write down the cities you’d most like to see.
The point of a bucket list is to maximize your life experience.
These are not goals that you would like to complete in the next year, or five. They are goals for the rest of your life.
Are you feeling a little stuck? Here are 5 Outdoor Adventures that we recommend adding to your Bucket List!
Visit the Grand Canyon, and overwhelm your senses in the USA
The Grand Canyon is an American classic. Located in Arizona, The Grand Canyon was formed with unique combinations geologic color and erosional forms. It’s said that upon first sight, the Grand Canyon will completely overwhelm your senses!
Hike Mount Kilimanjaro, and sit at the top of the world in Africa
Every year, over 50,000 brave people hike Mount Kilimanjaro. Located 200 miles away from the Equator, Mount Kilimanjaro is covered with a crown of ice and features five different types of ecosystem.
Attend La Tomatina, and take part in a food fight in Spain
La Tomatina is an annual food fight festival that takes place near Valencia, Spain. In a city that normally houses 9,000 residents, this event brings in over 50,000 attendees and trucks upon trucks of tomatoes ready to be thrown.
Camp under the Northern Lights, and see something beautiful
The Northern Lights are the result of collisions between particles in the Earth’s atmosphere, and can be seen in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The lights have been viewed as far west as New Orleans, and can generally be best witnessed at midnight during clear skies.
Set sail with 3 Hour Sail, and experience the magic of the west coast of Canada
3 Hour Sail and its best well known resident, Tall Ship Thane, can make a pirate out of anyone – young or old. Set sail out of Victoria BC’s Inner Harbour, and into the beautiful Strait of Juan de Fuca. Bring along a picnic basket or a bottle of wine, and be prepared to spot a killer whale (or two!)
