Team building program

Successful sailing of a gaff-rigged ketch is not just about handling a boat on the water. It is the ability to expect the unexpected from the sea, about handling stress when conditions are unfavourable and solving problems when things don’t go according to plan. Orders need to be timely, precise and clear – otherwise disaster could strike. This is no different from running a successful team in business. To succeed, the crew needs to operate effectively as a team. There’s no room for egos onboard a tall ship – instead encouragement, cooperation and teamwork are required to set a true course.

On the Tall Ship Duen Team Building Program, we can work with your conference organizers or motivational trainers to form part of the crew. Alternatively we offer an environment to simply have a getaway with your team to strengthen social bonds away from the office.

Fundraising Cruise for Power To Be

Wednesday, September 5, 2018

6:30-8:15 pm Evening Cruise

Power To Be is an inspiring organization that empowers people living with a barrier or disability to explore their limitless abilities through inclusive adventures rooted in nature.

They believe physical activity and time outdoors is paramount to health and happiness, and that no one should be excluded from nature, recreation or community. Power to Be works to remove barriers by providing equipment, caring staff and volunteers, and program subsidies to ensure finances are never a barrier to adventure.

On Wednesday, September 5th, Three Hour Sail will be donating all proceeds from it’s evening cruise towards this inspiring organization.

Please join us for a beautiful fall evening of sailing in support of this fantastic organization!
